CALL FOR POSITIONS
PSI-CT has several openings for passionate perinatal advocates! Please consider STEPPING-UP in one or more of these volunteer positions.
Regional Coordinator: The Regional Coordinator serves on the Full Board of Directors, and attendance to the Full Board meeting every other month in person or via Zoom is required. This role is responsible for organizing and coordinating Regional Representatives in the state, encouraging current Representatives to meet regularly, and recruiting Representatives in areas without current representation. The Regional Coordinator will be the line of communication between Regional Representatives and the Board, both fielding questions and requests for the board and disseminating information from the board to the counties throughout the state. Positions within the Fundraising & Events Committee
Grants Coordinator: The Grants Coordinator spearheads efforts to find, apply for and track grants for PSI-CT. This role will receive and organize requests from PSI-CT Committee Chairs and Board members, and coordinate with others to find, complete applications, and follow-up, as well as track use of grant funding once it is received. The Grant Coordinator would attend the monthly meeting of the Fundraising & Events Committee. Members needed: This is a very busy, high energy committee with many opportunities for various levels of involvement. We are looking for individuals who may be able to work on projects behind the scenes or directly participate in planning and running events for PSI-CT. Positions within the Communications Committee
Press Relations: This individual will have communication expertise for outreach to media outlets, writing press releases, and coordination of communication to the CT community. Photographer: This individual will have expertise and commitment to photograph events for use in our communications of our organization and maternal mental health. BECOME A PSI-CT COORDINATOR: PSI-CT coordinators are trained to take calls and/or emails from those looking for help throughout Connecticut.
