CALL FOR POSITIONS
PSI-CT has several openings for passionate perinatal advocates! Please consider STEPPING-UP in one or more of these volunteer positions.
Board Position
Regional Coordinator: The Regional Coordinator serves on the Full Board of Directors, and attendance to the Full Board meeting every other month in person or via Zoom is required. This role is responsible for organizing and coordinating Regional Representatives in the state, encouraging current Representatives to meet regularly, and recruiting Representatives in areas without current representation. The Regional Coordinator will be the line of communication between Regional Representatives and the Board, both fielding questions and requests for the board and disseminating information from the board to the counties throughout the state. Positions within the Fundraising & Events Committee
Members needed: This is a very busy, high energy committee with many opportunities for various levels of involvement. We are looking for individuals who may be able to work on projects behind the scenes or directly participate in planning and running events for PSI-CT. Positions within the Communications Committee
Website Design/Maintenance: Responsibilities include coordinating with Communication Committee and PSI-CT board members to update and maintain the website as needed, and to make design changes to improve functionality and attractiveness. Expertise in Word Press preferred.
Photographer: Responsibilities include providing or delegating/coordinating the photography and recording of events for use in our communications of our organization and maternal mental health.

JOIN A COMMITTEE: In addition to the positions and members needed above, we are recruiting volunteers for the Membership Committee, (psictmembershipcommittee@gmail.com) Support Group Committee (psictgroups@gmail.com), and Professional Resources and Development Committee (psictresource@gmail.com). Please join us if you can meet once a month with one of these committees and want to be even more involved in making a real difference!

BECOME A PSI-CT COORDINATOR: PSI-CT coordinators are trained to take calls and/or emails from those looking for help throughout Connecticut. They may be asked for resources or just to be a friendly voice on the phone who understands what the caller is experiencing.
