
PSI-CT welcomes additional volunteers to join our various committees at any point during the year. Embracing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, we invite you to contribute your time to support this community. Below are our existing committees with brief overviews of their focus areas. The Membership committee educates members about the organization and volunteer opportunities within the organization and fosters connections between the membership, committee chairs, PSI Coordinators, and the rest of the board of directors.
Develop and provide learning opportunities for the perinatal mental health community. This committee oversees distribution of both PSI and PSI-CT scholarship funds for trainings and PMH-C exam fees.

This committee will identify and connect with government officials who may act as champions for future policy and laws. This committee will be in charge of reviewing any requests for involvement or support from other organizations.
This committee oversees and promotes the development of support groups throughout the state of Connecticut and provides guidance and resources to facilitators to start/maintain perinatal support groups.
This committee seeks out, identifies and pursues opportunities for raising funds including writing grants, soliciting funds from external donors and holding fundraising events.
This meeting community supports and facilitates meetings of the PSI-CT POCC to further engage Providers of Color in a perinatal mental health networking community and the work of PSI-CT. The alliance liaison uses this group to inform members about the work of the PSI Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color, a program of PSI.
